Benson Idahosa University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into full-time and part-time degree programmes in the following Faculties:
1. Faculty of Arts and Education
2. Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences
3. Faculty of Social and Management Science
GENERAL ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Minimum entry qualification into first degree programmes is five credit passes in relevant subjects as indicated in the Faculty/Departmental requirements above and in the current JAMB Brochure, obtained in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations: SSCE WAEC, SSCE NECO, GCE WAEC, GCE NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general admissions requirements stated above, a minimum of two relevant subjects passed at GCE Advanced level or NCE (3 merits) or Diploma in relevant field not below credit level is required. It is mandatory for all applicants (full-time and part-time) to register for 2011 JAMB DE or pass 2011 JAMB UME (as applicable) to qualify for admission into the University.

The internet form should be submitted to any of the centres with a non-refundable fee of Seven Thousand (#7, 000) naira in bank draft in favour of Benson Idahosa University, Benin City.

RESUMPTION AND REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS
Successful candidates are to collect their Letters of Admission from the University as from August 3, 2011. The 2011/2012 academic session would commence on 25th September, 2011.
Registration of students would commence immediately.
