An international ultra-deepwater drilling contractor currently in the process of mobilizing to Nigeria to embark on drilling campaign in the Nigerian waters is in dare need of Nigerian candidates to fill the following position(s):
Job Title: Chief Mate
Qualification:
• Must be a Nigerian with at least 10 years in the Marine department or as an alternate 7 years minimum in a similar position with an offshore drilling contractor.
Basic Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of deck equipment, fire fighting and life saving equipment, lifting equipment and vessel's exterior maintenance and ensure materials and and equipment loaded onboard are safely stowed, secured and labeled according to regulatory requirements.
