Job Title: Scheduling and Project Controls Engineer
Scope of service include but not limited to the following:
• Identifies scope of schedule activities and determine milestones to support project schedule.
• Determines schedules dates for work activities within a discipline area or specialty. Continuously assists discipline or specialty engineers in developing their individual work plans and knowledge of overall requirements.
• Assists in developing specific project codes of accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions.
• Assists discipline groups in determine what information is required from other disciplines to support and interface with the assigned discipline or specialty.
• Evaluate quantities, job hours/staffing and schedule logic for a specific discipline or specialty.
• Prepares schedule, staffing and quality progress and performance reports for assigned disciplines or specialties.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in scheduling and project controls related functions on complex EPC projects preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Skilled in Primavera P3.1 Scheduling software or later versions (preferably P6.0).
• Knowledge in the use of computers for executing work processes, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in performing quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis and computer operations.
• Skilled in understanding technical processes, engineering drawings, quality determinations, mathematical and financial reports.
• Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and startup work processes.
