TWO ministerial nominees were withdrawn yesterday – no thanks to "unfavourable security reports". Former Minister of National Planning Dr. Shamsudeen Usman (Kano) and Alhaji Umar Aliyu (Taraba) were dropped on the orders of Acting President Goodluck Jonathan.
A source said last night that Usman was dropped, following a petition against him by the Constitution for Good Corporate Governance.
