Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State has released its Batch B 2011/2012 Provisional Undergraduate Admissions. The candidates who were screened on 5th & 19th July, 2011 have been offered Provisional Admissions for the 2011/2012 academic session into Babcock University. This offer is SUBJECT TO VALIDATION BY THE JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATIONS BOARD (JAMB); and could be withdrawn any time it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the stipulated requirements.
Beginning from Friday, July 29, 2011, each candidate is required to:
1. (a) Report to the School Officer of his/her chosen school with the following documents
(i) Two (2) copies of 2011 UTME result slip;
(ii) Four (4) recent passport-size photographs and three
(iii) Original and three (3) photocopies of SSE result or its equivalent for scrutiny;
(b) All candidates who are awaiting result will be required to sign an undertaking to present acceptable SSE result or its equivalent on or before matriculation holding Thursday November 24, 2011
2. Report to the Head of Department for academic clearance and to the Student Support Services Unit for psycho-social screening.
3. OBTAIN SECURITY ENABLED "AUTHORITY TO PAY ACCEPTANCE FEE" from School Officer; and proceed to any designated bank (GTBank, WEMA, FirstBank, Zenith) to purchase a Bank Draft for a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF TWO HUNDRED AND TEN THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY (N210,000). This includes N200,000 part payment of school fees; and N10,000 for both medical tests and psycho-social screenings.
4. Present Bank Draft to University Cashier for an official receipt.
5. Present the receipt (2) copies at the Registry (Admissions Office) for a letter of Provisional Admission into Babcock University.
6. This offer of provisional admission, which is "FIRST-COME-FIRST SERVED," will lapse at 2.00 p.m. on Friday August 12, 2011; if the non- refundable acceptance deposit is not paid on or before that day.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Any candidate who by-passes any of the above processes runs the risk of denied admission status.
2. Candidates below sixteen (16) years old will not be considered for admission.
3. Candidates whose UTME scores are eventually below the JAMB minimum cut-off for 2011 admission will not be matriculated into Babcock University.
4. Any supplementary screenings will be officially advertised and only conducted in full consultation with JAMB. Private admissions arrangements and incentives are illegal and NOT allowed at Babcock!
