(http://media.il.edmunds-media.com/non-make/ns/ns_81011_196.jpg) American artist Chris Burden has spent the past four years creating the sculpture "Metropolis II," which shuffles 1,200 die-cast cars in a continuous loop -- sometimes reaching scale speeds of 240 mph -- through 18-roadways, including one with six lanes. It will be on display at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for 10 years beginning in the fall.
