Ondo State House of Assembly as the Speaker, Hon. Taofik Olawale Abdulsalam, was impeached.
Abdulsalam, representing Akoko North East Constituency, was impeached by 18 out of the 26 members of the Assembly with his deputy, Mayowa Akinfolarin.
The lawmakers had arrived at the Assembly as early as 8am to finalise the impeachment procedure.
