Babcock University invites applications from eligible candidates for admissions into this programme in the Department of Accounting of the university for the 2011/2012 Academic Session beginning 5th September, 2011.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Holders of ICAN Professional Certificates (ACA, FCA) are eligible to apply for admissions into the programme, provided they possess, in addition to any of these, a minimum of 5 credits at the WASSCE or NECO "O" level subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) or their equivalents, AT NOT MORE THAN 2 SITTINGS.

THE PROGRAMME/ELIGIBILITY

This programme results from a Memorandum of Understanding Babcock University has with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). It is designed for ICAN members who desire to acquire university degrees in Accounting; and lasts for 2 academic sessions (four semesters). There are limited spaces available.

MODE OF STUDY

The programme which holds on weekends (Sundays), is non-residential; and runs for 2 academic sessions (4 semesters). Lectures hold 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays only.

APPLICATION

Application forms are obtainable from the office of the Registrar, Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. Cost: N10,000 in bank draft only (purchased from GTBank, WEMA Bank, First Bank and Zenith Bank) in favour of BABCOCK UNIVERSITY. Kindly exchange the draft for an official receipt from the university Bursary and collect your admission form from the Registry.

Submission of all application forms and Registration for this programme close on 26th September, 2011. All applications are to be submitted latest on that date. Lectures begin on 18th September, 2011.
