After performing at the 2011 VMAs (MTV Awards) on Sunday 28 August, 2011, Beyonce Knowles unbuttoned her sparkly jacket and rubbed her belly -- announcing her pregnancy to the world. The camera then cut to Jay-Z and Kanye West in the audience and their over-the-top jubilant reaction.
She had earlier in the evening announced the pregnancy by showing off her tiny baby bump when she hit the carpet at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
Beyonce married rapper Jay-Z in April 2008 in New York.
She hinted at her plans to start a family during an interview with Piers Morgan recently.
She told the Brit: "I always said I was going to have a baby at 30. I'm 29 now.
"But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don't know. I am not retiring, I tell you.
"Only God knows, only God knows."
