A medium sized conglomerate manufacturing and marketing fast moving goods with headquarters in Lagos, and operations pan Nigeria requires the services of the following positions:
Job Title: Transport Manager
Requirement:
• First degree, HND or equivalents obtained in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering at not lower than 2nd Class Lower or Upper Credit.
• Professional certification in Business and Transport management will be a significant advantage.
• At least 10 years experience in fleet management position with responsibility for developing and implementing a cost efficient vehicle care and maintenance plan.
• Must possess good knowledge of vehicle tracking management for company vehicle fleet.
• Must have the capability to manage a well developed in – house service station with about 20 auto technicians /mechanics looking after petrol and diesel engine vehicles including trucks.
• Good understanding of procedures and policies regarding effective utilization of vehicles in the fleet to achieve desired logistical goals interested candidates must be computer literate.
