Job Description:
To assume responsibility for Financial Markets Derivative business in Nigeria for both Corporate and FI clients i.e. marketing and delivery of Global Markets products, profitability, business growth, external interface, communication with other business units.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- To conduct Bank's business within the limits/ parameters fixed by the Senior Management.
- To maintain a high standard of customer service in order to increase Bank's market shares vis a vis existing customers and enlarging the overall client base (FI and Corporate).
- To actively market derivatives to corporate and FI clients and enhance the business turnover and profitability with less emphasis on spot and FX Forward transactions.
- To maintain a professional service and high profile so as to enhance the reputation of the Bank in the corporate Treasury market.
- To keep abreast of latest trends in the foreign exchange markets and advise customers.
- To conduct seminars/ workshops on the bank's differentiating products and capabilities to compete effectively with our peer group Banks in the region.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc University degree (2:2 Minimum).
- Up-to-date knowledge on the Central Bank's regulations on Foreign Exchange transactions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of movements in Foreign Exchange and interest rate markets.
- In-depth knowledge of derivatives and structured solution.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Must be an effective communicator and presentable.
- Understanding of general banking and key understanding of corporate banking and relationship between lending and GM products.
- Good analytical Skills.
- Knowledge of fundamental economic data and technical charts.
- In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
