Super Eagles head coach Samson Siasia believes Sunday's win over Barea of Madagascar in a Nations Cup qualifier will serve a the tonic needed for the team to confront Argentina in today's international friendly billed for Bangladesh.
Basking in the euphoria of the victory, an elated Siasia said the win which brightens Nigeria's hope of qualifying for the 2012 Nations Cup will spur the players to victory against the Argentines.
He expressed happiness over the trip to Bangladesh having said before the Antananarivo match that the team would have no business honouring the encounter if the Eagles failed to beat Madagascar.
"The victory in Antananarivo is indeed good for the team ahead of the match against the Argentines, as it has put the players in the best frame of mind for the tie and I can tell you that we are happy going into the encounter.
