FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY MINNA (FUTMINNA) APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO INTERIM JOINT MATRICULATION BOARD (IJMB) PROGRAMME FOR 2011/2012
i. Applications are invites from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the IJMB programme of the Federal University of Technology, Minna for the 2011/2012 academic session. The IJMB is an eighteen (18) Months A Level programme that qualifies successful candidates for direct entry admission at 200 level into FUT Minna and other Nigerian Universities.
ii. Admission Requirements:-
(a) To qualify for admission candidates must have passes in five subjects including English language and Mathematics and with any three credits from the following:- Biology, Chemistry, Economics, and Geography, at SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB or Teachers Grade II Certificate Examination. The results obtained should not be at more than two sittings, and not earlier than 2007.
(b) The following combinations are offered at the Centre, (1) Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics (2) Biology, Chemistry, Geography (3) Biology, Chemistry, Physics (4) Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics (5) Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (6) Economics, Geography, Mathematics (7) Geography, Physics, and Mathematics.
iii. Application forms are obtainable from the Minna branches of Keystone Bank; International Bank; and Zenith Bank at the cost of N2,500.00.
iv. Completed application forms must be returned to the Secretary CPES on or before 15th October, 2011.
v. Please note that the Centre is not obliged to give reasons for rejecting any application, nor will it enter into correspondence on the subject matter with any applicant.
