A leading international player in marine services based in Port-Harcourt, River State currently recruiting to the following positions:
Job Title: Escravos Base Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Interface with clients for operations, logistics and technical and safety issues.
• Keep records of KPIs and analyze them and recommend appropriate measures.
• Coordinate protocol and crew change for the base.
• Ensure adequate maintenance of the Company's assets up to standard.
• Coordinate spare parts and stores delivery with company's representatives and clients.
• Coordinate the technical team in order to keep the fleet in good condition.
• Represent the Company at clients meeting and report same.
• Maybe required to perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time.
Line reporting & functional linkage:
• Reports to the Technical Superintendent
Key skills and behavior:
• Highly analytical and with good numeracy skills.
• Able to work with detail but maintain an overview.
• Good knowledge of marine equipment and materials
• Able to work to deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Experience:
• Sea going experience in a marine company as Chief Engineer.
• Past experience as a Base Engineer is added advantage.
• Marine management experience.
Education:
• A degree in engineering and Chief Engineers (Class 1) certificate of competence.
