Job Title: Manager Quality Control/Assurance

An energetic, hardworking and smart individual to serve as a Manager Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
Position Summary:
• This Manager Quality Control/Quality Assurance shall be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and co-coordinating all quality control programs designed to ensure safety and consistency of the production process in line with established and international best practices. The successful candidate shall perform necessary examination and analyses of raw materials, work-in-process and finished product in line with laid down procedures.
• Other duties will include formulating and maintaining quality control objectives and coordinating production processes in tandem with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Essential requirements for the role:
• At least 8 years relevant experience, 3 of which must have been at supervisory level.
• BSc/HND in Engineering, Food Technology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology or similar fields.
• Membership of a professional body is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to supervise personnel and excellent verbal/written communication skills required.
• Effective communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Experience of team and conflict management.
