Position: Safety & Fire Officer
Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Location: PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA
Compensation: Commensurate with qualification and experience
Education:
1. OND / HND / Graduation / Post Graduation with Specialized training in Industrial safety and industrial firefighting.
2. Diploma holders in Industrial Safety would be preferred
Experience in Preferred Industry Type: Industrial Products/Heavy Machinery/Oil Refineries/Petrochemical Plants & Chemical process plants using inflammable solvents.
Functional Area: Production, Maintenance, Quality control ,Tank Farms, all buildings within and outside the premises owned by the company also company warehouses within and outside company premises
Desired Profile:
1) Planning for fire prevention & fire prevention activities.
2) Fire fighting.
3) Selection, installation & maintenance of fire fighting equipment like fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, Gas based fire extinguishing systems, fire hydrant systems, and mobile fire tender.
4) Conducting fire prevention and fire fighting training programmes for employees.
5) Activities related to Emergency preparedness and response, evacuation mock drills, etc.
6) Fire Safety Audits.
7) Accident Investigation and Analysis
8) Hazard identification & Risk Analysis
