MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Civil Design & Structural Design
• Supervise, Review, Approve & Manage the Civil and Structural Engineering Design of Onshore facilities, buildings, Accommodation, offices and all associated facilities.
• Technical authority for Civil and Structural Engineering, i.e., Civil Design, Concrete Design, Structural Steel Design and Building design
• Ensure that the Scope of services for Civil and Structural Design is fulfilled in accordance with the CONTRACT, with COMPANY rules and general specifications and with applicable National & International codes and standards.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Provided Design input where required
• Review Contractor deliverables for Civil and Structural Engineering
• Review Vendor deliverables related to Civil and Structural Engineering
• Lead technical meetings & Project meetings as and when required.
• Attend site as and when required to review & approve Civil and Structural Works
• Review and answer to Engineering and Construction Contractor queries
• Carry out necessary coordination with specialists and all relevant approving authorities
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
• Must be able to carryout Civils works design, drainage, infrastructure as well as structural design.
• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Must be equally proficient in Civil & Infrastructure Engineering as well as Building Structures
• Chartered Engineer – Preferable
• Overseas Experience – Preferable
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in Civil Engineering of Building and Civil / Structural Engineering Projects, i.e., General Civil, Concrete Design and Structural Steel Design as well as Building Engineering.
• Must be fluent in English, Strong communication and coordination skills, Team Worker, Self Motivated.
