Description:
• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounting for specific projects with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.
• S/He is expected to provide leadership in the accurate keeping of all books of account for the project, including checking account, equipment and supply registers and all accounting records.
• S/he will prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including financial status of subprojects account activities with accompanying bank documentation and receipts.
Education/Experience:
High School/GED and 9 - 11 years relevant experience; or AA and 7 - 9 years relevant experience; or BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or related field, and 5 - 7 years relevant experience in a business setting; or MS/MA/MBA and 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a business setting.
