Super Eagles' coach, Samson Siasia needs to make up his mind on Vincent Enyeama and stop passing the buck to the soccer governing body, President, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aminu Maigari, has said.

Enyeama, Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper was axed for instigating players' mutiny over travel arrangements to Madagascar.

He later tendered his apologies to the coach, the team and the entire Nigerians but he  is omitted from the squad which will play Guinea on October 8 in Abuja.

''Siasia must be joking when he told the press that the NFF had the final say on Enyeama. He has said he wanted a free hand and needs no interference whatsoever from the NFF and that is why we are not going to interfere in this issue. He is joking if he expects us to dabble into this issue'' Maigari said  in Lagos.

''He had reported the player to the NFF and we had given him the free hand to run the team. So I wonder why he would say we at the NFF will decide what to do on the player.''

He restated the commitment of the NFF to giving the national team coaches the power over their squads.

''We won't force decisions on our coaches and we shall respect any step taken by the coaches so long they can convince us that their actions are in good faith.''
