Job Title: Piping Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Lead the workloads of a team of piping discipline engineers and designs, within the parameter of a project schedule.
• Establish a list of discipline deliverables, Control, monitor and progress these deliverables to an agreed schedule.
• Ensure recognized engineering practices applicable to piping design and topside/plant layout are adopted.
• Exercise guidance to staff in the preparation of piping materials and valve specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards.
Requirement:
• Must be degree qualified and have a minimum 10 years of design experience in Hydrocarbons and or Power Industry; however preference will be given to candidates with LNG experience.
• Out of the 10 years, the candidate must have 3 years experience as a Piping Engineering Lead.
• Must have sufficient knowledge of pipe stress, pipe supports, piping specifications and piping materials and all the relevant North American Codes.
• The candidate must be fluent in the use of AutoPipe, WinNozzle, CodeCalc and other software related to pipe stress analysis.
• The candidate must be self motivated and must have proven leadership skills.
