Job Summary: The User Liaison Officer is responsible for promoting the effective use of technology and information through client outreach and advocacy in the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Duties and responsibilities include:
•   driving increased and more productive utilization of existing and new technology and information across IMF;
•   assisting in creating and maintaining client awareness of existing offerings and new technology initiatives;
•   developing and executing communication plans, strategy, and status to inform and educate a variety of client groups through the use of various communication channels;
•   performing communication planning and execution for IT projects and changes with organization wide impact;
•   providing communication consulting to IT groups;
•   contributing to the drafting, editing, and publication of all messages regarding IT outages, changes, upgrades, etc., with IMF-wide impact;

Experience:

•   Experience in gathering and analyzing complex and unstructured information to develop overall strategies for the application of technology
•   Multimedia and web design, as well as use case development expertise, would be an asset

Qualifications: An advanced university degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field of study or equivalent, plus a minimum of 4 years of professional experience; or a bachelor`s degree in information technology or a related field of study plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
