The Market Analyst will have a cross-functional role between GE's businesses in support of the National Executive: Sub-Sahara Africa. This individual will lend high-level support to the development of GE's go-to-market strategy and sales tools needed to drive growth in the region. Essential Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed regional market analysis for each GE business and compile "fact-base" including Total & Available Customer Spend, Competitive Analysis and Regulatory Analysis.
• Set up and implement a commercial database
• Gather information and keep all data sources updated
• Assist with analyzing gaps in the market and finding white space
• Build organization charts and understand who's who
• High level support to strategic market development activities
• Assist the NX in administrative matters end ensure their follow up
• Meeting and event planning/coordination
• Build The Presentations Of GE National Executive Presentations
• Preparing accurate and creative charts using PowerPoint and Excel
• Organizing and managing daily schedules, coordinating meetings, and arranging conference calls
• Professionally handling and analyzing confidential information
• Make travel arrangements.
• Ad hoc Requests
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must be from the region with proven experience, preferably with technical background.
• Bachelor's degree (ideally engineering),
• Commercial, customer facing, background in sales, marketing or business development.
• Must be computer literate with creative capabilities in making high level presentation
• Exceptional leadership skills, critical & creative thinker
• Passionate about GE and its future growth in the region
