Role Profile:
The successful candidate will maintain the day-to-day financial activities of the company within budget as agreed by Executive management, ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored, including credit control. Prepare and review detailed budgets for approval by Executive management. Identify, negotiate and make recommendations on funding contracts and other financial arrangements. Advise on the proper allocation of resources. Monitor financial expenditure of the service and provide advice on a broad range of financial issues to Executive Management.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.
• Make regular reports on income, expenditure and any variations from budgets.
• Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, for grant aid, for contracts and any other initiatives.
• Ensure that the finance dept is adequately managed and staffed
• Prepare and maintain annual budgets in consultation with Executive Management
• Oversee running of all finance and account activities including all finance department activities
• Administer grants including monitoring expenditure
• Oversee maintenance of computerized and manual finance records
• Ensure financial responsibilities of the organization are carried out. E.g. taxation and payroll liabilities

Education/Qualification:
• B.SC in accounting, business admin, economics or other related field
• Member of ICAN and other professional body will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years experience
