Key Challenges/Mission:
• Mass integration of Network Elements (NE) at OMC/NMS (Operation Maintenance Center / Network Management System) Perform provisioning, Work Order implementation, Network element acceptance testing
• Network Administration of the OMC-R/ NMS servers: Apply methods and procedures for Software release upgrade....
• Problem Solving of Trouble Tickets open and duly registered in Alcatel-Lucent Databases
• Troubleshooting and log analysis for preventive actions for NE's
• Cooperation with remote expertise centers and technical assistance centers for network incidents
• Network monitoring and administration of Alarms
Competences & Skills:
• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of OMC-R / NMS servers.
• Software upgrade of OMC-R/ NMS components.
• Performing Acceptance tests of NE's to ensure their full Administration from the OMC-R / NMS
• Insert OMSN (optical multiservice nodes), SDH Radio inside the ring.
• Creating The Traffic on the ISA cards. (transporting Ethernet to the SDH Ring)
• Inserting all the NE's in the NMS.
• Participating in the 1353SH and 1354RM Installation & Configuration.
• Server Installation:
• NMS (1353NM,1354RM & 1354BM-ETH) Operation:
• Domain Definition, NE definition and Customer Creation.
Qualifications:
• B. Sc. In Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Not less than 2 years experience
• Knowledge of Optical Fiber technology is mandatory
• Requires very rigorous and meticulous way of working
Relationships (inside and outside the company)
• Alcatel-lucent TEC, Alcatel-lucent TAC
• Alcatel-lucent Program management
• Customer operations
• Pre sales for evolutions,TPM, Roll out Managers.
