To ensure adequate supply of gas in a sustainable manner to boost electricity supply in the country, the Federal Government yesterday reviewed upward the price of gas to the power sector. Under the new price regime, the price of gas that currently stands at two cent per million metric British thermal unit, will cost $1/mmbtu by the end of the year.
