There was nothing at cradle that suggested that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan would one day preside over the affairs of Nigeria. Up till 1999 when luck smiled on him and he emerged the running mate to Dr. Diepreye Alamieyeseigha who was then in the governorship race of Bayelsa State, it is doubtful that Dr. Jonathan ever thought that he could one day make a career out of politics. It has been 11 long years since. Jonathan is now the president.
