Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) 2011/2012 Part-Time Application Form Is Out.
Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates into the Bachelor's Degree and Sub-degree Programs in the Directorate of Part-time Program of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso for the 2011/2012 Academic Session.
A. BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMMES
DURATION - 5 years
COURSES - (i)B.Sc. Accounting (ii) B.Sc. Transport Management
REQUIREMENTS - Five credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Economics or Commerce, and two other relevant subjects.
(iii)Bachelor of Nursing(BNSc)
REQUIREMENTS - Five credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition, the candidate should possess the following:
Registered Nurse Certificate(RN) or
Registered Nurse Certificate(RN) and Registered Midwife Certificate(RM) or Registered Nurse Certificate plus RPN with at least two (2) years post-registration experience.
DURATION - 4 years
COURSES - (i)B.Sc. Accounting (ii) B.Sc. Transport Management
REQUIREMENTS - Five credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Other 'O' Level requirements as stated in A above apply. In addition to the 'O' level qualification(s), candidates must have at least National Diploma with Upper Credit in relevant disciplines from a recognized Polytechnic.
B. SUB-DEGREE PROGRAMMES
DURATION - 2years
COURSE - (i) Social Work
REQUIREMENTS - Five credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Subjects include English, Mathematics, and any other three related subjects.
(ii) Computer Science
REQUIREMENTS - Five credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Subjects must include English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Access to the online facility for registration only will depend on the payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand naira (N10,000:00) only into any branch of SKYE BANK, after which they will be given a payment receipt for the purpose of online registration. Applicants must supply a functional email address during the payment at the Bank.

NOTE - All academic programmes advertised are run on Part-time basis in LAUTECH Main Campus, Ogbomoso and Mercy Land, Osogbo, i.e. on weekends only (Fridays, Saturdays and sometimes on Sunday) except BNSc Nursing that is run on a daily basis for a specific period.
