Job Title: Highway Engineer

Reporting Line:
• Reports to Senior Highway Engineer
The Job:
• Management of Highway projects and sites.
• Management of and effective & efficient deployment of resources.
• Organizing, sampling and testing of all construction materials.
• Quality control and safety of all equipment and personnel.
• Regular and accurate reporting to management on sites issues.
• Liaison with Clients reps / Consultants on the site
• Preparation of Bids and IPCs.
The Persons:
• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant Professionals Certifications.
• 15 years hands-on experience in the construction of high- value roads, bridges and other public infrastructure.
Notes:
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
• Detribalized and able to work in a multi-cultural team.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate very well in oral and written English.
• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
