Duties and Responsibilities:   
•   Oversee the development of PAWA 774 corporate budget and the allocation of financial resources.
•   Coordinate the proactive monitoring and reporting of budget positions.
•   Assess the development and implementation of cost mgt strategies to monitor and control costs
•   Oversee the establishment of efficient controls to mitigate identified financial risks
•   Coordinate the development and implementation of finance and accounting policies
•   Serve as key adviser on financial issues interpretation of accounting and tax regulation issues
•   Oversee daily activities of the dept. ensure alignment with the goals and objectives of the company
•   Periodically review key PAWA 774 finance activities and performance reports
•   Coordinate all revenue assurance activities to mitigate revenue leakages.
•   Oversee generation of relevant financial informationreport to aid Mgts strategic decision making
•   Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key banks and other financial institutions.
•   Prepare and analyze monthly expense and P and L reports
•   Prepare submit periodic mgt reports on the activities of the dept for board mgt decision making

Basic Requirements:   
- First degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Seven (7) years cognate experience, of which at least Three (3) years at senior management level.

Required Skills:   
•   Good appreciation of the telecommunication industry operations, key issues, trends and development
•   Advanced financial accounting knowledge both Intl local accountingfinancial reporting standards
•   Good understanding of foreign exchange operations and regulation
•   Strong knowledge of the local and international banking industry
•   Proven ability to interpret financial statement and apply a broad perspective in summarizing results
•   Verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to influence others
•   Ability to think strategically and holistically

Special Requirements: Professional accounting certification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAN or other relevant higher business degree with proven analytical and qualitative accounting and finance competencies
