Duties and Responsibilities:   
•   Oversee the development of PAWA 774 corporate budget and the allocation of financial resources.
•   Oversee daily activities of the dept. ensure alignment with the goals and objectives of the company
•   Prepare submit periodic mgt reports on the activities of the dept for board mgt decision making
•   Coordinate the development of the departments business and work plans.
•   Ensure constant availability of necessary infrastructure and enduser support to sustain operations
•   Maintain appropriate business relationship with relevant contractors and suppliers
•   Manage the completion of power infrastructure and maintenance
•   Manage of power infrastructures to provide service quality with SLAs capable of sustaining it
•   Manage the human and material resources of the department to optimize performance and enhance output
•   Help manager in communicating the activities achievements of the dept to all relevant stakeholders
•   Review and authorize key expenditures of the dept in line with approved financial authority limits.
•   Review and assesses the effectiveness of department policies and identify improvement opportunities
•   Provide guidance leadership support strategic direction in the execution of function activitie

Basic Requirements:   
- BSc or HND Electrical/Electronics or Communications Engineering
- Minimum of Seven (7) years relevant experience with at least Three (3) at a senior management level

Required Skills:   
•   Uderstanding of relevant regulations, telecommunications industry, income and other tax, etc.
•   Ability to think strategically and holistically
•   Knowledge of the intl/local power industry issues trends develop operation regulatory framework
•   Knowledge and understanding of the design, build and operations and maintenance of power infrastructure
•   Strong understanding of relevant power and IT applications and systems

Special Requirements:   
-Postgraduate degree in a related field or an MBA will be an added advantage.
- Experience in building and maintenance of telecommunication and power infrastructures in a developing economy.
