Madam Rachael Diekola Olabisi (nee Odeleye), mother of Kola Olabisi, the Managing Editor of Osun Defender newspaper, is dead.
She died in the early hour of penultimate Wednesday in Modakeke in the Area Office of Ife-East Local Government Council Area of Osun State after a protracted illness.
The deceased who was a prominent member of Saint Stephen's Anglican Church, Itaasin Modakeke, Osun State, was aged 95 years.
Her remains have been deposited in the morgue of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The deceased is survived by four children, brothers and a sister. The children are Mrs Deborah Odelade; Mrs Grace Oluyemi Yoade; Mr Taiwo Kola Olabisi, the Managing Editor, Osun Defender Newspaper and Mr Taiwo Ayoola Olabisi.
The spokesman of the family, Kola Olabisi, said the burial arrangement would be unfolded later.
