Overall purpose:
Management and supervision of branch operations and business development activities.
Job description / Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the branch operations and business development activities.
• Formulate and oversee the implementation of various marketing initiative in the branch.
• Ensure renewal of all existing policies and customer retention.
• Provide excellent customer services by identifying customer needs/preferences.
• Liaise with brokers and agents for business patronage.
• Develop effective strategies for marketing company's range of products.
Report to: Assistant Director, Zonal Operations
Knowledge/Skills:
• Ability to interface with decision makers at the highest level for business contacts is essential.
• Thorough understanding of business environment and insurance industry issues.
• Excellent market and product development skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications/Experience:
• B.Sc. (Second Class Lower) or HND (Upper Credit) in Marketing/Economics, Business Administration or any other
• Social Sciences discipline.
• A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
• A professional qualification such as ACII, ACIIN.
• Minimum of 8 years cognate experience in marketing insurance or financial and allied products.
