Post by: InfoGuru on Nov 10, 2011, 02:02 AM
With almost a million users and six million songs shared daily, Schematic Labs' social music sharing app Soundtracking (http://www.soundtracking.com) is today announcing that it has raised $4.75 million in Series A funding led by Accel Partners, True Ventures and Softbank. Soundtracking founder Steve Jang tells me that he plans on using the new funds for hiring and for furthering integration efforts with services like Spotify and Rdio, "We think connecting SoundTracking to consumption services helps take the music moments into your lean back consumption experience," he says.
