Position: Brand Manager
Duties of Brand Manger:
1. Leads the Marketing lifecycle process for designated brand(s).
2. Defines and helps facilitate master plans for designated properties.
3. Maintains brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all other internal and external communication as it pertains to assigned brand.
4. Works closely with all relevant Media departments to integrate media mix plans.
5. Functions as the information hub for designated brand(s).
6. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, editorial, marketing, design, and operations to execute specific marketing plans for each assigned title.
7. Coordinates and develops marketing, sales, editorial, and financial plans for product line.
8. Manages day-to-day progress of product marketing planning and execution.
9. Support the development of brand strategies and marketing plans across the organization
10. Provides financial and marketing justification for acquisitions.
11. Prepares marketing objectives and schedules for all phases of product solicitation and introduction to market including but not limited to sales materials and retail presentations.
12. Conducts market research and identifies and tracks market trends in company's industry.
13. Produces competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
14. Manage the day-to-day activities associated to all marketing efforts, including, project management, creative development, cross-functional implementation, campaign tracking and reporting as necessary.
15. Develops monthly and quarterly reports for management.
16. Monitors and advises brand
17. Aid in developing brand identity and related positioning and messaging to help inform the creative process.
18. Develop and execute creative in support of the brands and related products to meet profit objectives
19. Participate in key sales and marketing presentations as necessary
20. Assist in monitoring brand health metrics and support the development of new brand tracking across businesses.
21. Manage budgets and financial related to marketing campaigns
22. Assist with management of third party agencies.
Specification of Brand Manager:
1. Bachelor's Degree in business related discipline.
2. 4 - 6 years experience in similar position preferably in the FMCG sector.
3. Budget management experience.
4. Good knowledge of Markets and project management skills
5. Leadership and Team Management skills
6. Excellent presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills
7. Project management skills.
8. Good and effective communication skills
9. Able to promote cross functional effectiveness
