Router Simulator is a free software used for learning network programming. It Includes basic Cisco (tm) IOS Router commands and allows students to program up to six routers. The program is suitable for students who do no have a router available for programming.

It can also be used to experiment features of Cisco IOS, Juniper JunOS or to check configurations that need to be deployed later on real routers.

It is an excellent complementary tool to real labs for Cisco network engineers, administrators and people wanting to pass certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIP or CCIE. This program can be used on multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS X.
