(II) Qualifications
(a) Deputy Registrars (CONTISS 14)
Candidates should possess a good honours degree preferably in the Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Management Sciences from a recognised University plus fifteen (15) years cognate experience, six (6) years of which must have been spent in a tertiary institution. Registration with any of these professional bodies (ICA, ANUPA, NIM, CIPM etc) is mandatory.
(b) Principal Assistant Registrar (CONTISS 13)
Candidates should possess a good honours degree preferably in the Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Management Sciences from a recognised University plus twelve (12) years cognate experience, six (6) years of which must have been spent in a tertiary institution. Registration with any of these professional bodies (ICA, ANUPA, NIM, CIPM etc) is mandatory.
(c) Senior Assistant Registrar (CONTISS 11)
Qualifications are the same as for (a) above but with nine (9) years cognate experience, three (3) of which must have been spent in a tertiary institution.
(d) Assistant Registrar (CONTISS 9)
Qualifications are the same as for (a) above but with six (6) years cognate experience in a tertiary Institution.
(e) Assistant Registrar (Guidance & Counselling) (CONTISS 9)
Candidates should possess a good honours degree in Guidance & Counselling from a recognised university, plus six (6) years cognate experience in a tertiary institution. Masters degree in Clinical Psychology preferred.
