PeerBlock is a tool which can control who can connect to your computer on the Internet. In addition to hindering monitoring by anti-P2P companies, it's also capable of blocking malicious software.
With peerBlock you can block communication with advertising or spyware oriented servers, computers which have been "hacked", even entire countries. They can't get in to your computer, and your computer won't try to send them anything either.
