Ajax Amsterdam lost 0-3 to Real Madrid in front of his home fans, in the UEFA Champions League, on 7th December 2011.
The game was characterized by poor officiating, which was unfair to the home team. Two Ajax clear goals were disallowed. First one ruled as offside, other ruled as handball.
Following the loss, Ajax couldn't qualify for the next round of the competition and have been demoted to the Europa league.
