Cerezo Osaka edged out Shimizu S-Pulse 6-5 on penalties to reach the semi-finals of the Emperor's Cup on Saturday, but Nagoya Grampus bowed out of the season-closing tournament with a 4-3 loss on penalties to Yokohama F. Marinos.
