JOB DESCRIPTION: – provide support for the company's procurement functions by maintaining procurement data bank (supplier and materials) and support supplier evaluation and providing procurement intelligence – Collate input for operating company's functional business plan and total spend analysis – Develop and maintain database of pre qualified suppliers, contracts, contractors management and stakeholders communication – Manage material master, vendor master and service master to ensure accuracy in coordination with relevant departments (create, extend, update, block, flag for deletion) – Populate master data (classification, naming convention, UOM, safety stock, re order point etc) in collaboration with relevant functions – Ensure master data quality and compliance to defined master data policy and procedures – Discuss obsolescence strategies with relevant functions and analyze and identify slow moving/high value materials – Prepare report on master data KPI's and prepare procurement reports as required by thecompany – Manage established standard lists and forms and facilitate communication between procurement department and other functions – Maintain credibility of information in JDE – Define standards, templates and tools for supplier relationship management and measure compliance with supplier relationship management standards
QUALIFICATION: – HND/BSC in any engineering course, purchasing or logistics and planning. – Accounting, managerial, communication, organizing, time management, presentation and analytical skills are required – Must be computer literate and administrative experience will be an added advantage – At least 1 year post NYSC experience in data management in a service driven and customer oriented environment – Ability to continuously improve efficiency of processes and pay attention to details
