CBS Interactive (http://cbsinteractive.com/) is exiting the German IT publishing market, selling (http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20120109006216/en/NetMediaEurope-Acquires-German-Arm-CBS-Interactive) its stable of local sites – ZDNet.de, Silicon.de and CNET.de – to NetMediaEurope (http://www.netmediaeurope.com/) (which also owns Gizmodo.de, ITespresso.de and Channelbiz.de).

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
