The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) denies reports that it has excluded the Peoples Democratic Party from the Bayelsa State governorship election scheduled for February 11 2012.
The list of candidates published on the Commission's website indicates that the determination of the party's candidates is "SUBJECT TO LITIGATION'' meaning that whoever prevails in the ongoing judicial process will run as the party's candidates for governorship and deputy governor.
The Commission hereby denies the claim that it has disqualified the PDP from Contesting.
