Role Synopsis:
• At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible operationally for all field personnel working for designated clients.
• Also responsible for a designated group of personnel for training and career advancement purposes.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1) Co-ordinate PL activity on a daily basis for a designated group of operators and/or drilling contractors.
2) Responsible for revenues and margins and approval of invoices for above group.
3) Pursue product line opportunities with above group.
4) Liaise with other coordinators in product line and engineering group to effectively co-ordinate personnel and materials. Forward plan collective personnel and resources.
5) Manage designated group of field employees, with emphasis on safety, quality and career advancement including training of said employees.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of College qualification or equivalent essential
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 10+ years' experience in an oilfield operations environment
Desired/Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
• Thorough understanding of conventional directional drilling techniques
• Complete knowledge of Rotary Steerable technology and application.
• Working knowledge of MWD systems used in conjunction with Directional Drilling systems
• Thorough understanding of customer requirements in the oilfield environment
• Thorough knowledge of Anti Collision policies and avoidance techniques
• Proficient in the use of PC's
• Ability to use skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development
• Establishes strategies for achieving individual or work unit goals
• Good analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
