Tt DPK is seeking senior gender development experts for short-term and long-term consulting opportunities on anticipated USAID and other donor-funded projects around the world.
Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience and at least five years of international experience in developing countries in one of the following areas:
• Gender development, and gender equity research and policy
• Gender-based violence issues, including domestic violence prevention
• Family law, courts, and mediation
• Training in and implementing standards set forth in various international human rights conventions pertaining to gender and the prevention of gender/domestic violence
• Incorporating gender considerations and sensitization into development projects
• Developing strategies for mainstreaming gender in policy development and planning and promoting gender parity in the public sector
• Developing national level policies and advice on gender issues and perspectives
• Advanced degree in gender and development, social science, development studies, or related field
• Regional specializations and associated language skills preferred
