Description:
The successful candidate will work with the Group General Counsel in providing general legal advice for the Company's operations and joint venture businesses, including ensuring compliance with corporate legal polices, local and international laws and regulations and partner agreements.
Key Requirements:
• A good first degree in Law from a reputable university with a Master's degree in Law a distinct advantage. Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association or its equivalent is essential.
• A minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years experience in the commercial legal practice and / or an exploration and production company.
• Strong experience negotiating, drafting and advising on upstream commercial agreements
