Job Title: Company Secretary / Legal Adviser

Location: Lagos

Ref: CS/LA/2012/001)

Qualification:

•   LLB; B.L; (LLM is an Added Advantage)

•   Must be certified member of institute of Chartered secretaries and Administrators.

Experience:

•   Post qualification experience of 7-10 years out of which 4 years must be in a financial institution.

Job description:

•   Ensuring all statutory compliances under the companies act;

•   Conducting board and shareholders meeting preparing agenda, notices and minutes of board and shareholders meeting.

•   Sound knowledge about the transfer of title documents in all key areas like Lagos, Ogun, port-Harcourt, Abuja.

•   Expert in drafting and vetting of agreement, memorandum of understandings, memorandum and articles of association.

•   Good understanding of the company act guiding incorporation of companies.

Key Skill and Competencies:

•   Very strong managerial and leadership skills.

•   Sound credit and marketing skill.

•   Knowledge of financial services sector.

•   Strong business sense.

•   Excellent interpersonal skills.

•   Excellent oral and written communication skills.
