Looking to get its state on the StartupBus radar, a group of Lousiana's innovators (http://siliconbayounews.com/2012/02/09/dont-forget-innovation-take-out-tonight-with-startupbus-founder-elias-bizannes/) met with founder Elias Bizannes (http://siliconbayounews.com/2012/02/10/elias-bizannes-announces-a-startupbus-will-leave-from-louisiana-in-march/) this week for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (http://www.brac.org/)'s February Innovation Take-Out (http://siliconbayounews.com/2012/02/06/startupbus-founder-elias-bizannes-visiting-baton-rouge-this-thursday/). After Bizannes' presentation (which he concluded by announcing the first Louisiana StartupBus!), the members of the local tech community unveiled this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2f70gxTUt5U) parody video: "I Wanna Be On The Startup Bus."
And yeah, it's pretty cute, guys. Plus, it's always good to see the excitement for building startups outside NY and the Valley.

StartupBus (http://startupbus.com/), for those of you unfamiliar, is the combo hackathon/road trip started by Elias Bizannes (http://www.crunchbase.com/person/elias-bizannes) nearly three years ago which heads out to SXSW. The group doubled the number of events it's running in 2012. This year, there will be a maximum of twelve buses, including those that run from San Francisco, New York, L.A., Cleveland and Tampa, plus whichever others get voted in here (http://startupbus.com/unlock).
Can someone transcribe those lyrics, by the way? Because that part about TechCrunch sounds pretty weird to me.
