Prominent Nigerians, labour leaders and civil society groups have reacted sharply to Federal Government's revision of the 2012 budget and the subsequent provision of the N888 billion for subsidy payment. While labour said the restoration of subsidy is a vindication of their position, Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, said though it was a battle Nigerians won for themselves, the war was not over because the entire petroleum industry had to be sanitised.
