Title: Pastor Commits Suicide In Nasarawa

A clergy man, Mr. Enoch Massin, in Nasarawa town of Nasarawa state has committed suicide by hanging.

Family sources and police authorities told leadership Sunday that the late  Massin, an unemployed professional teacher who was sacked by his employers three times within one year; in 2011 told his wife who resided that he wanted to visit his home town , Akwanga where he omitted the suicide.

he deceased reportedly concealed the rope with which he hung himself when he got to the village. The teacher's younger brother, Godwin Massin who confirmed the incident told our reporter that:

'There was actually no reason for anyone to have suspected anything when he arrived his village.  He discussed with his relatives and entered his room.

It was when his meal was ready and the lady who served the food went to call him, that he discovered him dangling from the noose tight to the ceiling'

LEADERSHIP SUNDAY gathered that  arrangements were being made to bury his remains, while sympathisers thronged the community to commiserate with the family members.

The decease was said to have left a note where he wished that the epitaph on his grave should read "Here lies a man who died for what he believed in"

Leadership Sunday findings revealed that the family of the deceased  has a history of committing suicide. Two of the late man's uncles had committed suicide some years ago when the family lost a court case over a farmland
