Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantekyie is adamant he signed the best possible contract with Goran Stevanovic after it was publicly leaked.

The Serbian's two-year contract due to expire next year has become a matter of public debate after it was published on a Ghanaian football website footy-Ghana. And it has been argued in many quarters that the terms of the deal were heavily in favour of Stevanovic.

But Nyantekyie is adamant Ghana got a good deal and says to suggest there is no performance clause is 'an exercise of misinformation' and that whatever the terms of termination are, Ghana would have been required to pay Stevanovic a compensation if he is fired.

"Contracts are performance based and that means there are incentives for achieving certain results. In the case of coach that may be a reason to terminate the contract but that will be no basis not to pay compensation,
